John
Forbes graduated cum laude from Bowling
Green State University in June 1979
earning membership in Phi Eta Sigma,
Beta Alphi Psi, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
He joined KPMG Peat Marwick in July
1979, specializing in the real
estate/construction and manufacturing
industries, developing an extensive
background in the audit and tax issues
of closely held businesses. He was
a member of, and chaired the Ohio
Society of CPA’s state construction
conference committee and has taught
several construction accounting and tax
related courses at the state and local
levels. Mr. Forbes is a member of
the American Institute of CPA’s, the
Ohio Society of CPA’s and several
professional and civic organizations.
