John Forbes graduated cum laude from Bowling Green State University in June 1979, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alphi Psi, and Phi Eta Sigma. He began his career with Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (KPMG Peat Marwick), where he specialized in the middle market practice section, developing an extensive background in the audit and tax issues of closely held businesses.

In 1991 he associated with his present firm, now known as Deimling Forbes & Associates, Inc. John is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Ohio Society of CPA’s and several professional and civic organizations
